- Your flight is delayed and cancelled.
- There are air-traffic slowdowns at the airports.
- Events occur that could affect your trip.
How do I sign up?
At the time of booking your flight, select the method (text or e-mail) in which you want to receive Orbitz Flight Status Updates and how far in advance. After booking, log into your account, then go to your My Account. Then select Orbitz Orbitz Flight Status Updates and enter the required information.
Can I have Orbitz Flight Status Updates sent to someone else?
You sure can. Orbitz can send free alerts to up to 6 other people - go to My Account, then Orbitz Orbitz Flight Status Updates , and add their info there. Other travelers can also sign up to receive alerts through their phone or email.
I'm getting alerts for a flight I've changed!
If you change your travel plans directly with the airline and not with Orbitz, you may continue to receive alerts based on your original booking with us.
Can I get alerts with hotels, rental cars, tours or cruises?
No. Orbitz $arealerts are available on flights only. If you booked a package which includes a flight, you will receive alerts on your flight only.
How do I update or change my device?
To add or change your devices, go to My Account, then Orbitz Orbitz Flight Status Updates.
